Twist Ties
Twist ties are such a routine part of daily life that you probably don’t even notice how many you throw out each week (or reuse to close another bag). The metal wire inside the paper covering of most twist ties allows for many construction and connection possibilities. Reclaimed as a found material and put in the hands of children, twist ties reveal their hidden elegance, utility, and versatility - one of our favorite examples of finding beauty in the mundane while working with found materials.
